Hi Shubho,

Thanks for posting in MSDN forum.

This forum is for developers discussing developing issues about Office add-ins(apps for Office). Since the issue is more relative to SharePoint customization, I would like to move it to SharePoint 2013 - Using SharePoint Designer, InfoPath and Other Customizations forum.

The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us.

Thanks for your understanding.

Regards & Fei

Hi Shubho,

As your description, you want to use workflow to update some fileds based on the value of a field.

You can a IF confition to judge the value of the fields, then use "Update List Item" to update current item some fields based on the value.

Like:

In the Update List Item action, you need to add all fields that you need to update.

After that, publish the workflow into your SharePoint 2013.

Best Regards,

Wendy

Hi Shubho,

In SharePoint Designer, there are only three start options, one of them is "Start workflow automatically when an item is changed", like the screenshot:

You can check it in your workflow start options, then in your workflow, use "Send an Email", like:
