SharePoint 2013 Usage Reporting For a Specific Page

Hi All,

I have a business requirement where I have a custom page(.aspx, deployed using solution package ) where user can set up content and send e-mail on the fly using JavaScript.

It is required to create usage report for this specific page with no. of usage, what image user used on that page, what was the title of that page (this page is not in Pages Lib, being a custom page, its coming from a  solution/feature).

I could find the Page views from WSS_Logging but I am not sure if I shall be able to get Image and title info because this is accessed through JavaScript. Is there any way to check how many times a image is used from my page?

Any insights?

Hi Surabhi, have you considered using redirects? Make users click on a link to a standard page and redirect them (instantly) to the real page/image?

You may use IIS Log Parser to  count the page hits .  Collect the SharePoint website IIS Logs and use the Log Parser tool from  http://www.iis.net/downloads/community/2010/04/log-parser-22
