The calendar view in the task app is not able to be filtered.  This has been raised previously and there is still not a fix available.  can you please give an ETA for when the bug will be fixed? 

Problem: SharePoint 2013 Enterprise: Create a task list, add a category column.  Try to create a view with a filter on the category, nothing is filtered, everything still shows up in the calendar view.

For your issue, there is no ETA for this hotfix yet. But a good news is that  the filter function of calendar view of a task list in the SharePoint 2013 Online is working fine. In my opinion, the hotfix for SharePoint 2013 On-premise should come soon as the SharePoint 2013 Online. So I recommend you installing the latest Cumulative Update.

It seems this bug has expanded to all Task List views as of recently. We're unable to filter any task list views now as of February 2015 Cumulative Update. We skipped a few CU's, so perhaps could have been one of the hotfixes in Dec/Oct CU's. Although I'm so far unable to find anyone else with the same issue, so I suspect the February 2015 CU.

We're seeing this issue now on 2 farms.

I have found a friend; Experience the same issue on my farm. Tasks are not filtered at all. 

I think / hope(?) I applied all CUs in between and just installed March 2015 CU a few days ago...

A partner of mine is on October 2014 CU and filtering task works as expected.

We're in the same boat - we have the Feb and March 2015 CU installed and unable to filter Tasks view at all. All other content types filter normally.
