SharePoint 2013 Simple getcomputername - display on page
simple solution to display "computername" on a page. HTML?

Hi,

Through JavaScript only you can do this ,and trying to achieve through SharePoint and other server code style is not the best practice and seems to be security breach and no guarantee on whether it will works on other than IE browsers. 

var network = new ActiveXObject('WScript.Network');
var computerName=network.computerName;
