I have a problem with my SharePoint Server: 

Setup: Two back-end servers (w2012) and 3 front-ends (w2012), SQL(w2012)

I have tried almost every post I can find to try and get this working, I have tried to force the resume, I have cleaned out the node, I have check node runner, I am up to page three of google and bing searches...

I believe I have two problems the first is the Admin Component not running... no there are no white spaces etc. So need help there

Second I can not get the External request to go away....

Please let me know if yo have had the same problem, about to pull my hai

Well gave up trying to fix the broken Service.

FIXED:

1. Created second Search Service (via Central Admin)
2. Deleted old Search Service (via Central Admin)
3. Associated the new service application to the default proxy group

Now able to search again.
