SharePoint 2013 Reporting Services Error activating ReportingWebService.svc

I get below error when i tried accessing System Settings after creating Reporting Services Service Application in SharePoint 2013, looked in to many blogs but didn't find any fix

this server is 8 cores, 16 GB RAM and having 500 GB of hard disk space

i have SQL Server 2012 and SQL Server 2014 both installed initially, i have un-installed SQL Server 2014 and did the configuration again but still it didnt worked

Hi ,

Please check if SQL Server Reporting Services Service is started on manage services on server. If yes, please stop and re-start it.

In addition, please try to install SQL 2012 SP1 to check if it works.
