When I try install Sharepoint 2007 sdk ( file OfficeServerSDK.exe ) download from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=6d94e307-67d9-41ac-b2d6-0074d6286fa9&displaylang=en I receive "The installationv of this package failed". I tried install this package on 4 machines (one with win2k3 three with winXP) and I downloaded dist file several times (maybe file get damaged during donloading), but in everyway I had the same massage "The installationv of this package failed". Is it Microsoft problem ?

Hi Vladimir & Gaurav, Try the following and Pl. Update,1. Download a fresh copy of OfficeServerSDK.exefrom http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=6d94e307-67d9-41ac-b2d6-0074d6286fa9&displaylang=en to a folder, for example c:\MOSSSDK2. Run this command, Start-> Run -> "C:\MOSSSDK\OfficeserverSDK.exe" /extract3. The above command will prompt for folder(or run this command "C:\MOSSSDK\OfficeserverSDK.exe" /extract C:\MOSSSDK\ ), choose c:\MOSSSDK4.OfficeserverSDK.exe should extract the following two files a) MossSdk.MSI b) a folder by name Catalog, and files12.cat file under Catalog folder5. Execute MossSdk.MSI from the mentioned folder, if the file is not corrupt, then it should setup SDK in your computer.HTH! Did not work for me. If I run the OfficerServerSDK.exe I get: The installation of this package failed. If I run the above extract command I get the exact same message.
