SharePoint 2007 Support for Locales
Has anyone setup a Site Collection with a Locale setting of English (India) or English (Singapore)? I don't see support for these locales in any language pack on MSDN.
Thanks,
Roland

That's because those locales aren't supported yet.

I trust that answers your question...
Thanks

Hi Roland,
Do you want to create a English(India) or English(Singapore) Site Collection?
I think it didn’t make much difference between India English, Singapore English and American English except
for their accent.
MOSS 2007 Language Pack only provided English Language Pack and haven’t separate the English Language Pack
by different regions.
Here is the link to
The 2007 Microsoft Office Servers Language Pack Service Pack 2 (SP2).
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=01c6a3e8-e110-4956-903a-ad16284bf223&displaylang=en
And here is an article about how to use the language pack.

Hope it is helpful.
Best regards.
