Hi All, I'm working in SharePoint 2007 web part's target audience, there is a problem to add the AD Groups as target audience, because I not able to find the AD Groups under "Distribution/Security Groups". The connection between SharePoint and AD has been configured, because the AD Groups or AD users able to find and add in SharePoint (People and Groups), just it cannot be find in web part's target audience. Please help. Thank you in advanced.

Hi Hemendra Agrawal, Thank you for your link, I have tried full import of user profile, the AD Group is not empty. and yet still unable to find AD Group on Target Audience via "Distribution/Security Groups". After the user profile full import, there were users imported, the users in the AD Group was imported as well, when check on the imported log. However, I believe the full import is not impact on the Target Audience. Other troubleshooting has been done like below but no luck: - Create a new web application and site collection, then test on the target audience, still unable to find AD Group - Under user profile connection, it show that there is a connection between sharepoint to AD Any other way to find out why? urgent, please help.

The issue has been solve after recreate of the SSP, then perform full import of user profile. Guess it is due to some error in the existing SSP.
