SharePoint 2007 - How to track RSS usage
Hello,
I had a staff member ask if we could track and report RSS usage from certain SharePoint lists. Is this possible?
Thanks, Tony MaddinTony Maddin

Hi Tony,
Thanks to share your post.
From the problem you encountered, do you mean that you want to know the usage of the RSS in the SharePoint?
I think the following two links would give you a proper hand:
http://www.datasprings.com/Resources/ArticlesInformation/SharePointMOSS2007RSSFeeds.aspx
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint-server-help/add-rss-feeds-to-your-sharepoint-site-HA010291095.aspx.
The linked articles give you the navigation of the RSS usage in the SharePoint 2007.
Hope this could help!

Hello Leo,
I was hoping to find information on tracking the usage of the RSS feed itself.
For example, my company's Intranet, we encourage user's to subscribe to the RSS feeds of various news lists we have built to reduce email alerts. We want to see if RSS is being utilized by collecting data to see how many people are subscribed to the
RSS feed, number of pulls per day, etc.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.Tony Maddin
