SharePoint 2007 - Group By Column (Expand the list)
I need step-by-step instructions to add another column group like the one pictured. I can add the sub-group (which allows only two). I am referring to the main group. Titled here, "Section: TestOne". All the help aids I find are referring me to permission groups when I perform searches or provides instructions using Designer. I do not have Designer. Thank you.

Without Designer, you won't get this done. Groupings are limited to 2 levels out of the box, which can only be overcome with SPD and a datagrid view. An alternative may be to apply your top level grouping as a filter instead, so that only those relevant documents are returned, at which point your 2nd and 3rd level column groupings can be applied. Other than this, I believe you're out of luck.Steven Andrews | SharePoint Professional | http://www.twitter.com/backpackerd00d | https://baron72.wordpress.com/

To get the mulitple sections below, the solution is after you create a new column (e.g. Section), you have to Group By that "Section". Then, if you upload a document and need a new section, you simply place the title of the new section in the Section field: That new section will be added to the list.
