SharePoint 2007 - Email enabled libraries / calendars no longer receiving email. Stuck in drop folder.
Does anybody have any idea on this?

Are there any error message logged in the SharePoint logs? You can try manually triggering the incoming email timer job.Regards, Mahesh

I have a Moss 2007 farm with several email enabled libraries and calendars that were working happily with Exchange 2003. The server is configured to create the address as @sub.domain.com. I upgraded Exchange to 2010 with an Edge server and pointed the SharePoint server's incoming and outgoing mail settings to the new server (not Edge). Made sure the firewall was opened up between the Moss 2007 server to new Exchange and Edge servers. Sadly, the emails have stopped coming into the email enabled libraries after the migration. Alerts work though (@domain.com). SMTP works. Can telnet and tests leave the pickup folder and get received. Oddly, I have other SharePoint development farms that do not have this problem when configured to the new mail server. It's only the production one of course. I can see where the break down is... Emails I send to the libraries on the production server are getting stuck in the Drop folder. I'm not sure why exactly or how to fix it. I'm leaning towards a problem with timer jobs, as a person in another thread suggested. Unfortunately for me though, he didn't elaborate on the how or why. http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/sharepoint2010general/thread/9e3dd44e-9669-4cab-a0fc-cbc865f53bab Some help would be great.

A colleague is suggesting the following link. I will report back the results. http://sharepointreporter.wordpress.com/2009/09/30/clear-sharepoint-configuration-cache/
