Hi Rashu
do you mean we need to delete the following lines (13-17) from the web.config files?
thanks again

Does the same server box also has Exchange Server?
I would suggest you to comment line # 13 and check the result. If this doesn't work, comment line #13 and #14 and check... and so on...
PS: Make backup of original file, before making any changes. Thanks & Regards,

Hi,
From the error message, it may be caused by that site was configured to use the wrong version of the Asp.net scripting maps. Sharepoint Server 2003 must use ASP.NET
1.1, for more information, please refer to:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907763
I’m sorry that I have no server for SharePoint server 2003, if steps below has any differences, please feel free to let me know.
Please open IIS Manager, go to Properties for the Central Admin Web application, click Home Directory Tab, under Wildcard application maps, check whether it is set
to v1.1.x\aspnet_iisapi.dll.
If it is set to v2.0.x or later version, change it to v1.1.x ( locate to C:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v1.1.x, run command aspnet_regiis –r, run comman aspnet_regiis –i, run Product and Technologies Wizard) and do iisreset.
Thanks,
Qiao Wei
