SharePoint/people picker incorrect. Active Directory and User Profile Database correct.
The client I am at has changed their email suffix. All the accounts returned in active directory show the new suffix. The user profiles in the User Profile Database also reflect this change. However when a user is selected in a people picker, it returns mixed results. This is creating an issue with any email sent from SharePoint where the account does not have the new extension.Where is this information coming from? I want to refresh this information.Thank you for your time.

A full import of the user profiles does not resolve this issue.

Is there a cache I can reset for this? The People Picker is powered by SharePoint Search - you'll need to run a new crawl for the content source that points at your SharePoint site. I ran a full crawl and my results were updated immediately at the completion of the crawl.
