SharePoint/UAG not publishing SSR reports externally
We are publishing one of our web applications via UAG for external access. The content within the web application is being returned as expected. However, when we attempt to access SSRS reports externally we are experiencing the following error: An unexpected error occurred while connecting to the report server. Verify that the report server is available and configured for SharePoint integrated mode These SSRS reports can be accessed when we access the web application internally. We have checked the AAM mappings for the server and these 'appear' to be correct. Our default zone points to the internal url. We have two mappings in the Internet zone for both the http & https externally facing public urls. I have read in various posts that people have experienced issues with SSRS and it not being able to resolve addresses not in the default zone. However, our SSRS is running SQL Server 2008 RS Reporting Services and I would not expect this to be an issue any more. The servers in the farm are patched to SP3. We have been recommended to patch to the latest cumulative update. However, I am not sure quite how this will resolve the issues. But I am prepared to do this (would do anyway) if it might resolve the issues. Has anyone had any similar issues when publishing via UAG and could offer an insight into just how they managed to resolve this.John Whyte
