SfB - Peer-to-Peer Session Detail Report

Hi All !

Do you have any issues with subject "report" ?

After SfB was deployed, all was OK. But now, then I try to open the "User Activity Report" is open without problems and I see all information, but then I try to open detailed information about call or IM session and click on the "Detail", the new window is opened and I see working Loading bar some time (5-7 min) and thats all. In the report server logs I saw next information:

library!ReportServer_0-1!104e0!05/15/2015-14:40:41:: i INFO: RenderForNewSession('/LyncServerReports/Reports_Content/Peer-to-Peer Session Detail Report')

All other reports work good.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

From your description above, it could be relative position of the fields in the RDL file.

Here is a similar SQL case below:

https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-us/59fd813c-d534-4361-87e1-cbd484bc1d75/there-is-no-data-for-the-field-at-position-xx?forum=sqlreportingservices

From Skype for Business side, you may need to delete the related information from database and then test the issue again.

Also, you can post a case on SQL forum, and there are more SQL report experts will help to solve the issue. Thanks for your understanding.

Hi Eason !

Thank you for information !

I don't think, that problem is in the missing data for the field at positions.. I compared log files from Lync 2013 monitoring reports and SfB log files... I saw missing data for the field error in both log files. It is a normal for that report, because the different type of calls (IM, Audio, Video, Local, federation) logging to the different fields. In the Lync 2013 environment the report working good with the same errors about missing data for the filed.

best regards,

Konstantin

Hi Konstantin, I've run into the same issue with Lync 2013 EE and a SQL 2014 backend DB (I know, not supported), applying latest Lync Server updates to the DB doesn't fix the problem. If I find a resolution I'll post back here.

Further update - I removed Monitoring from the Lync topo, published, ran Uninstall-CsDatabase, added Monitoring back in, published, deployed the reports again and then restarted all Lync services and I can now access the detailed session info. Not the best fix but did get it working again.

Hi nicothepimp !

Thank you for information !

I have SfB Standard edition with collocated SQL 2014 instance for monitoring and reporting services. The first 3-4 days after deployment and moved pilot users from Lync 2013 Std pool, all was OK, I saw detailed sessions info.

Could you please check and post back if you've a issue in the next week ?

Thank you in advance
