Hi, SCCM Version: SCCM 2007 SP2R2 I have PXE Site role installed on Windows 2008 R2 WDS/DHCP Server. Can someone confirm the DHCP settings please to allow clients to pick up PXE requests. So far on the DHCP server I have run : WDSUTIL /Set-Server /UseDHCPPorts:No /DHCPOption60:Yes . I can see this set on the DHCP server. Do I still need to add in these manual DHCP entries? 066 Boot Server Host Name: *IP of PXE Server* 067 Bootfile Name: pxeboot.com Thanks

In my experience, I dont think you'll need option 066 or 067 specified if the server with PSP installed on it also has DHCP. You will definitely need to specify UseDHCPPorts as No, however, as well as specifying option 060 PXEClient. Are you having any specific problems? Cheers, Adrian.

Most of times I only specify option 066 and 067 because PXE is not running on the DHCP server then. When this is the case (PXE on DHCP server) option 060 is also needed. Actually - looks like the reason the WDS server won't start after configuriong the two extra DHCP options is due to connection my SQL server. Let me check the permssions

I have added the Computer Accounts of my Parent Site Servers to the Admin group of the SQL Server. Do I need to add the computer accounts of all my PXE/WDS/DHCP/DC Servers also to the SQL Admin Group?

Well, found the problem: My SQL Server had lost is default gateway. A few choice words have been said to the guys upgrading our VM Environment and the NICS getting screwed up.
