Setting up a new secondary site server
I have a new secondary site server that acts like it has just stalled. It has been 40+ hours since I went through the wizard to set it up. On the Data share (D:\Program Files\) there are newly added files and also just at the root of D there are files. I am not sure how to check if the server has completed or not. Also in the SCCM Console I can see the new site, but it will not expand its tree so I can start assigning roles and other settings to those roles. Is there a specific log file I can look at? Do I need to remove the server from SCCM and try again? What is the correct way to remove and recreate? With that being said I also have one that I need to de-commission. I was not who originally set these up so I am unsure how to do so. Thanks! Edit - I spose it would help if I mentioned the OS. Windows 2008 x64 sp1, SCCM 2007r3

Make sure the two servers have admin rights on one another and make sure the sender addresses have been created. That should make it work. John Marcum | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum/|
