Setting dinamically major gridlines properties for a char - SSRS 2008 R2
Hi, I'm working with a chart and I'd like to set dinamically major gridlines properties for the vertical axis. For a parameter set I could have a scale with number 1000 as max value, or number 100 as max value and so on. I'd like to increment the number of the lines depending on the scale of vertical axis. I think to put an expression for the grid interval property. Any suggests to me, please? Thanks

Set the interval expression to something like: =Parameters!ChartInterval.Value

Hi, conditioning the grid interval by an user parameter it isn't a good idea. The number of the lines depending on the scale of vertical axis has to be incremented in as dinamic as authomatic manner. Thanks

Hi There Thanks for your posting. What do you mean by dynamic? As far as I understand dynamic is not to give a fixed value to something? Am I right? If you do not want to put parameter value you can put expression in the interval to something like Round(Yourmaxvalue-yourminvalue/20,0) Round(Yourmaxvalue-yourminvalue/20,0) I hope this will help If you have any question please do ask Many thanks Syed Qazafi Anjum
