Setting a date attribute using the FIMAutomation snap-in
I want to set a datetime attribute with a PowerShell script using the FIMAutomation snap-in. What's the format that the snapin needs for date attributes? I tried "2010-07-22T00:00:00.000" but it does not seem to work. Thanks, PaoloPaolo Tedesco - http://cern.ch/idm

In the xml export file (generated from the FIM PS commandlets) I see the dates as 1/14/2010 3:18:05 PM You may need to swap the month and day because of oyur regional settings.David Lundell www.ilmBestPractices.com

Hi Paolo, There is an issue with Datetime attributes in the FIMAutomation cmdlets. At this moment, the FIMAutomation cmdlets can only read datetimes but not write datetime attributes. If you need the writing datetime capability, please file a support case. Billy
