I have a geographic "Region" Row Group that uses a "Recursive parent" field to generate a recursive hierarchy. I set the Group's ToggleItem to the group's textbox to enable drill-down within the group as shown below. However I also want to be able to Toggle rows using cells in the Parent "Risk" Row Group. How can I setup this Tablix so that the entire Recursive Hierachy Group under a parent row can be collapsed and expanded by its parent value, without losing the ability to toggle within the Region group?

Hi, Select your region group. go to visibility property. set visibility to hide and check toggeling checkbox. now set textbox name from the table which contains Risk group. i.e. the textbox which shows Terror value, its name is Terror set Terror in toggeling item Touseef

Apparently I didn't clarify my problem: I want to be able to toggle within the Recursion Group as well as by the Parent Group. If I set the ToggleItem to the Parent Group then the toggling within the Recursion Group levels will no longer work.

Hi Dbooksta, From your description, you want to define another toggle item for a report item or a row/column that is associated with a group if the initially toggle item was hidden. If I have anything misunderstand, please point it out. In Reporting Services, it is not supported to configure the toggle item based on an expression in current release. That means a report item can only be controlled by a unique toggle item in any condition. We appreciate your comprehension. Regards, Charlie Liao
