Session setup failed because no trust account exists
I sort of understand the issue regarding Trust. What I dont understand is the seesion setup is stated as coming from a computer name that is not the name of the computer being set up. (Confused?? So am I)
The name of my SCE Server is TUSDSYSTMCNTRSVR
In the Alert Details Pane in SCE for this alert, the Source is the name of the computer I am attempting to install to. In this case TUSDFSMOSVR.
In the Alert Description it is stated:
"The session setup from computer 'DO-BS-BROCKLAP' failed because the security database does not contain a trust account 'DO-BS-BROCKLAP$' referenced by the specified computer...."
I am uncertain as to why the computer TUSDFSMOSVR is being identified as being setup from DO-BS-BROCKLAP. 'DO-BS-BROCKLAP' is a user's laptop.
Shouldn't the computer TUSDFSMOSVR be the name of the computer stated in the Alert Description?
Any ideas?Allan Browning

Hi,
Please check if there is a computer called “'DO-BS-BROCKLAP'”, please try disjoining
and rejoining the computer to domain and seeing how it works.
Meanwhile, please check the settings of the related alert referring to:

Hope this helps.

I don't understand how that makes any difference.
I am adding the server called TUSDFSMOSVR to my System Center Server called TUSDSYSTMCNTRSVR. How is the trust with a laptop interfering with running the SCE session setup script on the machine called TUSDFSMOSVR?Allan Browning

Hi,
Thank you for your response.
May I know how did you add the server “TUSDFSMOSVR” to System Center Server “TUSDSYSTMCNTRSVR”?
Regarding the error "The session setup from computer 'DO-BS-BROCKLAP' failed because the security database does not contain a trust account 'DO-BS-BROCKLAP$'
referenced by the specified computer....", this is collected from a computer which encountered this error and it should not be related to the SCOM server, please also refer to:
