Service and Portal Setup Wizard ended prematurely
Hi,
i did a new install of FIM 2010 on a new 2008 R2 Server.
The SyncService Installation worked fine but the service Install failed to install with Wizard ended prematurely.
After that i started the service install only and this runs fine.
After changing installation to add Portal same error like befor. Directly after Deploying Solution the Rollback starts. After this point theinstalled Team Service wont work and i need to restore the web.config.
I have repeated the readmes 3-4 times and always got the same issue.
- added SPNs - again, startes setup as admin, enabled all inbound trafficon firewall...
Does anyone have a hint for me - f.e. a detailed logfile....

Just a sanity check:
- did you run the WSS config wizard?
- did you configure a site collection in WSS?
Have you tried to run the install with
verbose logging?
Is there any useful information in the event viewer?
Kind regards,
Peter

Hi Peter.
i did run the wss wizard, the default site was accessible and usable.
I tried verbose loging, but the only information i got was the missing web.config on c:\ ?!?!
I think something is wrong with the spns. i will recreate them.
