Service Recovery in Azure failed to register a VM

Failed to register a DS11(Premium storage) virtual machine.

The error asked to contact technical support, but as this service is Previum they suggest me to ask in the forum.

I need to make snapshots of these machines.

Hi Ana Sanchis,

Have you tried re-registering the VM and do you still get the same error message ?

You can deploy Site Recovery to protect of virtual machines running any operating system that's supported by Azure.

The storage account should have geo-replication enabled. It should be in the same region as the Azure Site Recovery vault and be associated with the same subscription.

Recommend you to go through " Best practices for Site Recovery deployment " that might help figure out the issue.

Feel free to write back incase the references dint help.

Hi Ana, where did you see this error?

Could you please send a screenshot of the error? Is this while you were using Azure Site Recovery service?

Thank you,

Ruturaj
