Servers not coming out of maintenance mode
Hi, We have a SCOM Environment (2007 R2 on a SQL 2005 Backend). We seem to have a problem that servers will not come out of maintenance mode at their scheduled time. We have had this issue for a while and we have only just managed to do a complete reboot of everything to see if thar would fox it but it appears not. We have rebooted all the servers in our environment over the weekend but the issue still persists. I cannot see any problems in the event logs in SCOM or in SQL. Any ideas as to what the problem could be? Cheers Neil

Fixed it, somebody had put our management server into maintenance mode for the past 2 months! Took it out and now it is working correctly. Do you think there will be any more issues with the management server being in maintenance mode for such a long period?

Hi, I glad to know you have resolved the issue. At this time, please check the Event Log on the server; if there are any related errors, please let us know the details. Thanks. No issues as long as you team doesn't put a management server into MM. #Winning!Regards, Blake Email: mengotto<at>hotmail.com Blog: http://discussitnow.wordpress.com/
