Servers are in a hung state after being patched
Hi, We use SCCM to manage the patch deployment of our Servers. I have noticed that a few windows 2008 Servers just hang while trying to reboot. I have had a look at the Reboot Coordinator It talks about Agent is still initializing, waiting for it to finish before rebooting. Which Agent is it refering to and what could be stalling the restart. All the Servers are Virtual Machines and the only option I have is to power it. Thanks, User logoff notification received RebootCoordinator 15/06/2012 11:34:27 PM 10912 (0x2AA0) CRebootCoordinator:Reboot Coordinator received a SERVICEWINDOWEVENT START Event RebootCoordinator 16/06/2012 10:00:00 PM 16868 (0x41E4) Failed to instantiate UI Server {C2F23AE4-82D8-456F-A4AF-A2655D8CA726} with error 80004005 RebootCoordinator 16/06/2012 11:37:47 PM 14100 (0x3714) Failed to instantiate UI Server 2 {E8425D59-451B-4978-A2AB-641470EB7C02} with error 80004005 RebootCoordinator 16/06/2012 11:37:47 PM 14100 (0x3714) Failed to instantiate Updates UI Server {2D023958-73D0-4542-8AD6-9A507364F70E} with error 80004005 RebootCoordinator 16/06/2012 11:37:47 PM 14100 (0x3714) Failed to instantiate VApp UI Server {00AAB372-0D6D-4976-B5F5-9BC7605E30BB} with error 0x80004005 RebootCoordinator 16/06/2012 11:37:47 PM 14100 (0x3714) Unable to notify client UI of jobs started.
