Series Overlap property in SSRS 2008
Multiple data fields are added to the column chart (Not Stacked or 100% Stacked column). Then i need to overlap all the fields for that particular date. This is achievable in Excel 2007 using the Format Data Series property called Series Overlap.I need this to be done in SSRS 2008. Kindly help me on this. Thanks

Can you give an example? If it is just to overlap the columns for the same category, you can do it by enabling 3D. Just look into the following blog and see if it is the result that you want else give a little more details http://road-blogs.blogspot.com/2010/04/better-way-of-showing-current-year.htmlCheers, Jason ( http://road-blogs.blogspot.com ) P.S. : Please click the 'Mark as Answer' button if a post solves your problem! :)

Thanks a lot Jason.. That was exactly what i was looking for.. Now am able to put at as 3d and make the inclination and rotation as 0 which now resembles as an overlapped 2d chart. Thanks once again. My next issue is to remove the gap between the columns... Looking for your help here too..

I dont know the answer as of now, but meanwhile why dont you post this issue in a new post so that others would also be able to help you. Keeping one issue in one post will give you more results.Cheers, Jason ( http://road-blogs.blogspot.com ) P.S. : Please click the 'Mark as Answer' button if a post solves your problem! :)

To close the gap between columns you could open the series properties/General/CustomAttributes and set the PointWidth to1.0
