When using the Custom item Send To Location feature of a Document Library, the item's Last Modified datestamp gets updated in the source location. As I like to start a workflow on this event (that deletes the document from the source location, so effectively moving it), could anyone tell me what field has changed that triggers an item modification in this case? I tried turning on version history on this Document Library, however no new version is created - so I am confused.Thanks, Sander

Keep in mind that Microsoft can opt to change the way a built-in field works in any future release. So, about the time you figure out the problem and 'fix it', they can break it again. A rule of thumb is never try to use a built-in field as the basis for coding. My suggestion is to create your own field and update it yourself. Steve Clark, MCTS | Twin-Soft.com
