Hi When update/check-in an page, an approval notification email needs to be sent in order to complete page publishing approval process. this email is send in some of the subsites but for some it is not working can anybody tell what are the areas which i need to check or were could be the issue. Hi Mrugank, Could you please check the task list. Hi Pratik Thanks for the reply I checked the workflow task and in that i found that "Send e-mail when ownership is assigned?" property it is set to Yes. The site is already live so i will not be able to create new publishing site. and which feature i need to check in site features for each site? Thanks Mrugank

For all subsites for which the page publishing approval process is not working, perform the following steps: Go to the SubSite. Click Site Actions --> View All Site Content Click on the Page Library On the page library, click Settings --> Document Library Settings On the Settings page, click Versioning Settings On the Versioning Settings page, select "Yes" for "Require content approval for submitted items" Once this option is set, you should be able to establish the approval process.
