Hi All, I've created a mail template to notify the admin if a new user is imported in the system. In this mail I would like to provide a link to the new users profile. However, if I refer the user with the link <a href="http://fim.rootdomain.lab/identitymanagement/aspx/Users/EditPerson.aspx?id=[//Target/ObjectID]"> the users display name is provided in the link instead of the ObjectID GUID. Running FIM 2010 RC1How can I get back the ObjectID GUID and not the Display Name?Regards,ChristianIAM Consultant

In RC1 the only guid you can get back is [//Request/ObjectID]. All other guids are converted to DisplayName.

Does this imply this will be changed for RTM? There are no plans to change the behavior. Is there another methode to provide the link to the user profile in the email? Embedding a link to the request object is the best option.
