Security issues when using Workflow Manager without SharePoint
I am new to workflow and so have been reviewing the samples/documentation of WF4/4.5. As a result, I have gathered that Workflow Manager might become the preferred deployment platform for workflows into the future. I am attempting to use WF separate from SharePoint and am running into issues regarding security configuration, specifically around access permissions to scopes and workflows. Everything works as expected if I run the application in Visual Studio with elevated permissions however this doesn't translate when running in a deployment environment.

There is a dearth of documentation on this topic. I would greatly appreciate any assistance to understand how to manage permissions to scopes/workflows when workflows are hosted by Workflow Manager so that they can be invoked (e.g. via PublishNotification) by applications running under non-administrator accounts.

Thanks
