Secondary site and managment point ?
With a secondary site serving a seperate IP range from the Parent for windows updates, should I have a managment point in the secondary site or should the systems in its boundarys be talking to the Primarys MP? NOTE: No traffic or bandwith issues.tconners

You MIGHT be interested in a Proxy Management Point. Here's a good read: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb693472.aspx (Determine Whether a Proxy Management Point is Needed at a Secondary Site) Reasons to deploy multiple MPs include 1) capacity (one MP can handle up to 25k clients) 2) Fault tolerance 3) Performance I suppose one might make the argument that having a Proxy MP in the Secondary Site even if bandwidth and reliability are not an issue. You have to weigh the added complexity vs. the increase in reliability and performance. My vote would be no, but that's just my opinion.
