Secondary Site won't Respond to changes
If I understand you correctly the changes which you are doing on primary server console is not reflecting on secondary site? Have you removed the SMS site properly ?Have you used the same site? (if so, I would suggest you to diff site code in the hierarchy to avoid more problems) Have you configured Site Addresses for secondary server in the console? This is required for primary site to secondary site. Have you already added the required permissions? Primary sites system account should be added to administartor group (local) of secondary server. and SMS_SiteSystemToSiteServerConnection_sitecode on primary server should have secondary servers system account. Lastly look at the log files like sender.log from primary and secondary servers for any errors in the communication.Anoop C Nair - Twitter @anoopmannur MY BLOG: http://anoopmannur.wordpress.com SCCM Professionals This posting is provided AS-IS with no warranties/guarantees and confers no rights.

It was the site address I think. I could have sworn I set that up. Maybe my mistake was looking at the site address from the secondary and not the primary. Thank you.David Jenkins

An admin screwed up my install of SCCM on a box and now I can't get it to run. I've had to completely remove the software from this secondary server. After removing SCCM I removed all the shares and folders it had left behind. I installed a new secondary site on the server. The primary site sees it. I get logs. What I don't get is changes, or shares or a reason why it doesn't work. I've tried to set the secondary as a distribution point put it doesn't create any of the shares it should and packages do not download to it. I've been searching the logs for a reason but have no idea why it doesn't work. I've rebooted all servers involved. I'm to the point I'm about to remove the flipping program (AGAIN@!@@@Q#Q@#). Can anyone point me to some common sense troubleshooting that will produce results? Logs aren't helping since they aren't producing anything. David Jenkins
