Secondary Site installation
What will happen if two different sites reporting to different Primary Sites will share same Sitecode?
Does installation wizard allow this ?SiddheshM MCTS

That is not supported and will cause major issues. Sitecodes have to be unique! Setup does not prevent from using the same sitecode more than once.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de

is this applicable for Secondary sites ? If we have three tier architecture ,and if first secondary site with site code ABC installed under One primary and then second secondary site with site code ABC under another Primary site.
In above scenario,at the time of installation does second secondary site will check there is already Sitecode assigned at other primary server? Only central server has this information and also in AD.
Does new propsed site code verified ? if yes then should it aginst AD or Central server??

Nope, at the time of installtion it won't check the site code is already present or not.
You can check in the central server and you can use the SCCM default report ID 75(http://reporting-servername/SMSReporting_sitecode/Report.asp?ReportID=75).Anoop C Nair - This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees, and confers no rights. |Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually

This is applicable to all sites in a forest; even if they are not within the same hierarchy. Nothing is checked automatically, neither during installation nor after it.

site codes are relied on to distingiush sites from each other, they have to be unique, it is up to you not to repeat them, or to use reserved sitecodes such as those listed here:
