Secondary Site Server Native Mode Installation Issue
I'm trying to install SCCM R2 Secondary Site Server. I'm trying to install SCCM SP2 first and then install the R2 update. I have a PKI in place and my Primary Site Server is configured for Native Security Mode. In addition, the Secondary Server has both the Site Signing and Web Server certificates installed. I gave the secondary site a different site code and pointed it to the primary site code/server. During the installation of the Configuraiton Manager on the Secondary Site server, I noticed that it was configured for Mixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, If the parent site is configured for Native mode that setting will automatically be inherit by the secondary site - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb680464.aspx Kent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/members/Agerlund/default.aspx | The Danish community for System Center products

Hi Kent/Eric, I was trying to set up the Secondary Server via the installation files on the server. Nothing I tried seemed to make a differnce. The installation summary showed that it would be set up as Mixed not Native. At this point, I am going to attempt to install the Secondary Server via the New Site System Wizard on the Primary Site Server. Would you happen to have a link that shows the necesary steps to install a Secondary Site Server via the New Site System Server Wizard? I'd prefer to install it via the acutal installation files on the Secondary Server as I've read that is a more secured method for installation. Thanks again for your help.
