Hello!

On fresh Windows 10 installation (build 10049) search does not work in Outlook (Office 2016 Preview 16.0.3823.1010).

Search query does not return results. In Event Log I have this error:

The protocol handler Mapi16 cannot be loaded. Error description: (HRESULT : 0x80004005).

I have the same error on two different fresh installed computers.

Index rebuild did not help.

Does the search works for other applications like when you search in start screen or using search?

As Cyber mentioned, we should first find out whether the search issue happened on the whole Windows 10 Technical Preview or just a Outlook 2016 preview issue, if other search functions are fine, then as mentioned above, please submit a feedback to us or post question in the Office 2016 Preview forums.

Search on start screen work fine. But in OneNote search does not work too.
