I have a customer with a Sharepoint Server 2007 running on windows server 2003. The server is a standalone server (no domain controller). The customer want me to migrate the farm (there is only one web application running on it) to a new server. I have been trying to backup the sharepoint farm but I get this error: Object Shared Search Index failed in event OnBackupComplete. For more information, see the error log located in the backup directory. Any idea about what might be wrong? Or how can I migrate this farm if backup won’t help me?
