Hi,

i am trying to configure search service application for two servers with index partition. could you tell me if you see any issue in the following screen shot regarding partition because for Test01 there is no index partition activated (Means no green Check there). is it default behavior or my configuration is incorrect?

It depends on how you configure your search service.

Looks like you have created, 2 partitions and placed both the partitions on same server.

And there is no right or wrong way of configuring it, it all depends on your resources, availability of servers etc.
