Search Get Mail Adresses out uf Multiline-Text Fields

Hello

We put our Emails in a Sharepoint Library with a 3-rd Party tool. The Format of the To and From Fields (multiline textfield) are:

'name firstname' <mail@mail.com>;(name firstname)<mail@mail.com>;firstname name<mail@mail.com>

Sometimes with '' sometimes with ()

So my target is to get JUST the Mail adresses as a Search Refinement.

Is there a way to achieve this? I can use Search Dictionaries but then i have to import all of the Mail Addresses.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

As I understand, you want to get the mail addresses as the search refinement in SharePoint 2013.

You could use refinement web part and add the To and From fields as the refiner in the refinement web part. You should create the managed properties for the To and From fields, and check the Allow multiple values checkbox when creating the managed properties. For more detailed information, you could refer to the articles below.

The article below is about how to add refiners to your search results page in SharePoint 2013.

The article below is about refiners for Managed Metadata Columns in SharePoint Online. It also can work in SharePoint 2013.

Thank you for Your answer.

The Problem is, that the Refinment webpart doesnt get the mails as Multiple values. In the Managed Properties i checked the allow multiple values, the result is like this:

FILTER

mail1@mail.com
mail1@mail.com;mail2@mail.com
mial2@mail.com;mail1@mail.com
mail3@mail.com
