Search Function Stopped Working
Sharepoint search function suddenly stopped working. When I first created my site, I was able to use the search function without any issues. Suddenly, the search function no longer works on my site. Every time I search for something (no matter what it is), I get a screen saying no results found. I have access to several other sharepoint sites on the same server and the search function works fine for all of them - it is only my site that no longer works. I have had some people in the site (using sharepoint designer) adding workflows, could they have changed a setting or disabled something to cause this? Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

No. The search function has been disabled for all users (of any level) on the site. I have had several users & one of the other owners of the site try and the search doesn't work for anyone. It gives the impression of working - the search bar is there, you type something and click the magnifying glass, it pauses for awhile as if it is searching, and then returns the following info: No results matching your search were found. Check your spelling. Are the words in your query spelled correctly? Try using synonyms. Maybe what you're looking for uses slightly different words. Make your search more general. Try more general terms in place of specific ones. Try your search in a different scope. Different scopes can have different results. as if you were searching for something that doesn't exist. You get this regardless of what you type (including searches that I know worked in the past as they were part of the training I rolled out on how to use the site).
