Script used by OpsMgr to test TCP Ports
Hi, It's not a script, this is implemented as an internal module (code).http://OpsMgr.ru/

Hi, I have configured SCOM to test a TCP Port on a remote server. The client is complaining that something is wrong with SCOM because his TCP port is left in CLOSE_WAIT state. I have told him that this state indicates that HIS application has already received a FIN from SCOM and HIS application must finish the connection sending a another FIN to SCOM. So, the problem is with HIS app. Anyway, he still needs more proof about my "theory". I would like to send him the script that SCOM uses internally check a TCP Port. Does it exist? Is it a .VBS script hidden somewhere in SCOM directory structure? Where? Thanks!-- leoh
