Script to update SCCM Database with new Active Directory Data on a computer-by-computer basis
Currently we scan for Active Directory System Discovery every 3 days. For certain computers we would like to change their ou in active directory and then update the sccm database with the new data within a few hours. We will target the systems manually but I'm looking for some kind of script that can refresh the ou data.

Hi, You can use the new delta discovery feature in R3. This will give you newly added computer account within 5 minutes (even in large evnrinments).Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

If we had R3 that'd be great heh. Are there any scripts that can cause the SCCM Database to update the clients OU membership?

You're gonna have to run discovery to get that info. You can use Steve Bobsky's tool if you don't have R3 and you don't want to run full discovery. It's not free but it's cheap. John Marcum | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum/|

Run discovery, do you mean Discovery Data Collection Cycle or another form of discovery?
