Scheduling Maintenance Mode
Hi, I'd like to schedule maintenance mode for a group of servers. The servers restart overnight and I'd like to cut down on the amount of alerts received. I've seen posts about achieving this using Powershell in SCOM, but nothing about SCE. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks, Andy.

Hi Andy, SCE does not integrate with Powershell. but as I konw, SCE can be managed by Powershell. The following is detailed: http://www.systemcenterforum.org/sce-2007-command-shell/ Please Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, it only provide informationfocusing on this problem. Thanks, I had a look at the link but couldn't get a script working in Powershell. In the end we created a small .Net applicationthat puts therequired servers into maintenance mode and run this in a scheduled task. Regards, Andy.
