Scheduled Reports Failing
We are receiving an error for some 5 Scheduled reports: the errors are: Failure writing file XYZ: The permission granted to user "domain\User" are insufficient for performing this operation Failure Sending mail : The permission granted to user "domain\User" are insufficient for performing this operation This has started to happen since the user who may have created these sechedules was removed from the domain. the user has left the organization. I am not sure what i could do in this case . When i click edit schedule for the report , i see that the report is actually running using a service account. I am not sure why the users permission matter as the only thing that user might have doen was to create the report . But i cant seem to find a way where i can see where that setting can be changed . I have lookied in reporting services permission and the permission is same as for the Working scheduled reports. I am certain that removing the user has caused this but where to fix that is not evident,.

Hi, Delete the scheduled job and recreate the jobs? Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

Thank you, i know i can do that . but there are a kot of reports and i would like to have som other way rather than recreating them . Something like changing the owner of the subscription.

Deleting and recreating the report using another user works , and so does the option of replacing the UserId in thh reportserver .

Thanks Dipesh. I did the same thing manually by replacing the OwnerId in subscriptions table. I wish i would have seen your post earlier. :) But i believe this has to be the solution as it has worked for me.
