Scenario
Hello guys, I have an interesting scenario. I have two different segments, one internal and the other external (internet). these 2 segments should not be physically link. On the internal segment, i plan on putting an SCCM server but remember, it will not have access to the net. Is there a way of mannually dnowloading the MS updates and using a flash to bring them to the SCCM server to update all the clients on the internal segment? If is not possible, do you know any product that will help. Thanks Maali

You can configure ConfigMgr. to sync with updates fro a local source using wsusutil.exe.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

Thanks Kent. wsusutil.exe can do that... does the local source have to have a link 2 the net to pick the updates? Maali

No, you can download the updates from another computer and add them to a source that can be reached from the Site server.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund
