Scanning to Sharepoint problem
We're using a fujitsu scanner and the facility in ScandAll PRO software to scan documents and complete the content type columns to post directly into Sharepoint which works brilliantly unless one of the fields uses a person or group from Active Directory. Even if you try to match the name/account name exactly it gives an error and won't upload the document. Has anyone else encountered this problem or got any suggested work arounds? Thanks

I have encountered this, and to fix it I changed the column to text away from the people picker. The problem with the people picker is that your name entry must match the way the users account info appears in AD. Even if you are off by one space, the update will fail. So you my want to try a trim command on your text that has the name. But for your sanity's sake you may just want to switch that column to be text. Anyone else run into a better solution? Brian
