My company hosts applications using a SaaS model. Each hosting customer has databases running on their own backend Windows Server 2008 / SQL 2008 Ent Ed servers. Our application now supports SSRS for creating and processing/delivering reports based on the data contained in the client database. As such, I now have the decision whether to build a separate SSRS installation for each client, or to build one large SSRS farm that can be used for creating/processing/rendering/delivering reports for all clients. I prefer to build one farm that can scale out, as it seems to me that this will maximize my resources. Can anyone share any experiences with such a model? My chief concern is security. Clients must never have access to another client's data. Would careful SQL/NTFS permission planning be enough to mitigate the risk? Appreciate any feedback.Shayne
