Using SharePoint Designer 2013, I created some ECT's and for each ECT I am creating External List without modifying them using InfoPath or other means..
I am using SQL DB as Data source for ECT..
I am facing a weird issue.
I am storing datetime value in SQL database table column with SQL datatype 'DateTime'.
Same value when displayed on External List 'List' displays in current Timezone format. For me this zone is GMT + 5.5 hrs. So I see the time as local time and I am HAPPY to see auto formatting.
Another External List has Foreign key relation with first table, so while Creating New record on 'New Form' I do see the External List item selection control..
When I open the corresponding item selection box, I do see the record:
I do see the time exactly the same as stored in DB, and since this is again a UI for me this time is not in current Timezone and so a confusion for the end user. Same column value on UI displaying different result... and this is my Query. How do I resolve this.
