In my updatedeployments.log file I see that my updates did download to the \cache folder but they never run.  At the end of this log file I see this over and over.  what causes this?

Hi,

Have you configured a deadline for your software updates installation? otherwise it will only download and sit there and wait.

Yes, we have a deadline and in fact the other 100 machines we deployed too worked.  Just this 1 machine has this issue.

Did you check WindowsUpdate.log (as it reflects actual update installation activity)?

Yes, it shows the updates were pulled down and they are in the CCM\CACHE folder.   They just won't run.

No, check WindowsUpdate.log (it's not a ConfigMgr log).

The WindowsUpdate.log file is in your client. You need to pick one of the machines which is encountered this issue to check and manually install the updates to see if the updates are still failed to install.
