STSADM export produces a .bak file folder and not a file - how to import?
I ran the following command on my MOSS 2007 site: stsadm -o export -url http://server/site -filename c:\Survey.bak -includeusersecurity -cabsize 512 -nofilecompression Normally, a BAK file (or more than 1) are generated and I would import those to a new site. In this case, I keep getting a file folder named "Survey.bak" which contains a bunch of .DAT files and XML files. What am I doing wrong?

I see where I made the mistake. I had omitted the -nofilecompression from the stsadm import command that I was trying to run. Never used -nofilecompression before and misunderstood what I was supposed to do. This can be closed!
